From my vacation that is. I spent six days and five nights at Walt Disney World. I arrived back in New York late Saturday night. I had the best time and it was worth every penny. I went with a group of friends. The flight going down was great. We flew JetBlue. No turbulence, just a smooth ride. We stayed on Disney property at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and stayed concierge. A few years ago while vacationing at Disney, I was automatically upgraded and it was great. As an added bonus we stayed in the main building and had a castle view room, which meant we could see Cinderella's Castle from our room. The weather was beautiful. There may have been a passing shower, but nothing that lasted more than 10-15 minutes. We managed to make it to all four theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios) and Downtown Disney. While at Downtown Disney we made it to DisneyQuest, Disney's Indoor Interactive Theme Park. They have a lot virtual reality and arcade games. On Friday, I treated myself to the spa. I received a 50 minute swedish massage. If only I could get one of these a week.
I've decided to come back in 2011. Disney will be celebrating their 40th anniversary. It should be a big celebration. Here are a few pictures taken over the course of the week.

As far as my knitting is concerned, I haven't made a lot of progress. I was under the impression that I would be able to finish the sweater while at Disney. I WAS SO WRONG. Soooo, for the next couple of days, I am on a mission to finish this sweater. I don't know why it's taking me so long to finish. Oh well, let me get to work. Happy Knitting!
P.S. Watch the blog in the next day or two for something special!
