FLORE Hat

Today, I got the Flore Hat kit in the mail from Knit Whits.  I love their website.  Their hats, bags and knit bikinis  are so cute.  Originally, I saw the hat at The Lion & The Lamb and fell in love with it.  The design reminded me of an artichoke.  On the Knit Whits website they describe the design as overlapping petals.  The kit comes in 5 different color schemes.  I chose Red Pepper.  When I first saw this hat two years ago, I considered buying it already made until I was told the price.  The completed hat will run you $80.00.  Knit Whits gives you the option to buy the pattern alone or purchase it with the yarn.  The pattern is $5.00.  The pattern and yarn is $34.00.  I think I'll start  it sometime next week.  I have to make sure I have the correct needles.
